Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Ski or Snowboard Instructor at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa to lead lessons, ensure guest safety, and contribute to a high-energy snowsports center. The role includes training with PSIA/AASI staff and ongoing education while working with guests of all ages.

Applicants should be intermediate skiers or snowboarders, able to lift 50 lbs, and possess strong customer service and communication skills.

What you will be doing:

• Lead ski or snowboard lessons for students of all ages.
• Ensure safety of guests and associates at all times
• Perform a variety of tasks around the Snowsports Center
• You will also have access to training and coaching opportunities with PSIA/AASI Education Staff while working towards instructor certification.
• Attend training with PSIA Education Staff and certified instructors while on duty to continue your education and improve your skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

• Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Prior coaching experience or position working with children preferred
• Previous coaching experience is helpful
• Great customer service and communication skills required
• Safety minded; Positive attitude and willingness to work with children required
• Intermediate level skier or snowboarder
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Able to tolerate extreme weather conditions
• Flexible schedule including but not limited to nights, weekends and holidays
