Model Remodel, a Seattle-based general contractor, is seeking a skilled SJD Technician to act as second-in-command on remodeling job sites. You will support the SJD Supervisor, perform general residential carpentry from demolition to finish, and uphold our quality standards and professional environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in residential remodel carpentry, expertise in high-end finish carpentry, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in residential remodel carpentry.
• Proven expertise in high-end finish carpentry.
• Strong understanding of general remodel techniques and processes.
• Reliable transportation and a good driving record.
• Ability to bring personal tools (e.g., cordless drills, nail bags, hand tools).
• Comfortable using email, text, and phone for communication.

Responsabilités

• Serve as second-in-command on job sites, supporting the SJD Supervisor.
• Perform carpentry from demolition to finish work.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Assist in managing crew members, subcontractors, and project schedules.
• Communicate effectively with the Supervisor, team, and clients.
