Job summary

Genpak in Scottsburg, IN is seeking a Thermoforming Operator responsible for running six Thermoformers, performing quality checks, recording production data, and completing first-piece inspections and production logs. You will troubleshoot, adjust settings, and maintain safe, clean work areas, with final approval by supervision.

Experience with machine start-up/shut-down, reading gauges, and proper packaging knowledge is preferred; safety PPE required and accurate documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Thermoformers within defined specs.
• Ability to read gauges and record heat readings accurately.
• Proficient in completing quality checks and production logs.
• Must learn and start up/shut down machines unassisted.
• Maintain safety PPE compliance and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate all six Thermoformers within defined specifications.
• Identify and report heating/cooling issues immediately.
• Start up and shut down machines without assistance.
• Perform adjustments and minor repairs as needed.
• Check oilers on equipment and replenish as required.
• Record readings and complete first piece inspections.
