Job summary

Genpak is seeking a Thermoforming Operator to run six Thermoformers, ensuring products meet quality standards and specifications. You will perform first piece inspections, document production logs, and report any machine issues to maintain smooth operations.

The role requires reliable start-up/shutdown, problem solving, and strict adherence to safety procedures. You will handle packaging prep and help keep the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Operates all six Thermoformers without assistance within defined specs.
• Recognizes heating/cooling problems and reports issues immediately.
• Performs start-up/shutdown unassisted and adjusts as needed.
• Ensures first piece inspection and production log are completed accurately.
• Maintains safe operation by using PPE and following safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate all six Thermoformers within defined specifications.
• Identify and report heating/cooling issues promptly.
• Start up and shut down all Thermoformers unassisted.
• Make adjustments as required and trouble-shoot problems.
• Record heat readings and other instrumentation data.
• Perform quality checks on products and packaging.
• Complete required paperwork (first piece inspection, production log).
• Maintain clean and safe work area at all times.
