Job summary

Genpak is seeking a Thermoforming Operator to run six thermoformers, conduct start-up/shut-down procedures, and ensure product quality through first piece inspections and production logs. You will monitor heat readings, document data, and troubleshoot issues to keep lines running smoothly.

In this role you will perform quality checks, maintain packaging materials, and uphold strict safety and housekeeping standards within a manufacturing/warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and operate all six thermoformers within defined specs.
• Read and record heat readings and production data accurately.
• Complete first piece inspection and production log documentation.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate all six thermoformers without assistance.
• Identify heating/cooling issues and report them promptly.
• Start up and shut down thermoformers unassisted.
• Make adjustments as needed and monitor readings.
• Check oilers and perform roll changes with minimal scrap.
• Perform quality checks and maintain packaging readiness.
• Maintain clean, debris-free work areas and follow safety rules.
