Job summary

Genpak seeks a Thermoforming Operator to run all six thermoformers, perform quality inspections, and document readings. You will start and stop machines, adjust settings, and maintain packaging and material stock at the start of each production run.

You will also ensure safety compliance, complete paperwork like first piece inspections and production logs, and keep the workspace organized and free of debris throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Must learn and operate all six thermoformers within defined specs without assistance.
• Ability to recognize heating/cooling problems and report issues immediately.
• Perform startup/shutdown of thermoformers unassisted.
• Adjust equipment as needed without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Read instrumentation gauges to record heat readings for each machine.
• Conduct quality checks (burning, cold cracking, registration) per roll.
• Maintain packaging knowledge for each product type and stock materials.
• Complete required paperwork (first piece inspection, production log).
• Keep work areas clean and free of debris.
