Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Siting Lead to join our Energy Transition team in the United States. You will lead routing and siting studies, manage CPCN filings, and drive client development across power, oil & gas, and renewables.

The role requires teamwork with ecologists, engineers, and planners, with a hybrid work model and 10–15% travel. Expect to balance project delivery with business development and client relationship growth.

Qualifications

• 12+ years leading electric transmission line and substation siting projects.
• 8+ years leading technical teams, managing schedules/budgets, and delivery of high-quality work.
• 5+ years leading project pursuits with direct client communication and scope/cost estimates.
• 5+ years leading CPCN filings.
• Experience collaborating with scientists, engineers, archaeologists, and other specialists on siting/environmental projects.
• Involvement in client development and leadership, including sourcing opportunities and industry networking.

Responsibilities

• Lead routing and siting studies and CPCN filings.
• Provide QA/QC reviews of client deliverables and regulatory filings.
• Coordinate with public outreach and permitting teams.
• Lead project teams and develop siting strategies; manage client relationships.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, archaeologists and specialists.
