Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Siting Lead to join our Energy Transition team in the United States. You will lead routing and siting studies, manage CPCN filings, and drive client development while guiding interdisciplinary project teams.

Based on project demands, you will balance remote work with office time within a hybrid structure; periodic travel 10-15% is expected. The role requires senior leadership and a track record in siting and environmental permitting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, urban planning, GIS, engineering, biology, ecology, or similar discipline.
• 12+ years of experience leading electric transmission line and substation siting projects.
• 8+ years of experience leading technical teams, managing schedules and budgets, delivering high‑quality work.
• 5+ years of experience leading project pursuits and CPCN filings with client communication.
• Experience collaborating with scientists, engineers, archaeologists, and other siting specialists.

Responsibilities

• Lead routing and siting studies and CPCN filings for new projects.
• Provide senior QA/QC reviews of client deliverables and regulatory filings.
• Develop siting strategies and coordinate with clients to ensure successful outcomes.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary teams including outreach, permitting, and GIS staff.
• Drive client development and pursue opportunities with account leaders.
