Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Siting Lead to join our Energy Transition team in the United States, leading routing and siting studies, CPCN filings, and public outreach. You will manage client relationships and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver complex siting projects.

The role requires strong leadership, GIS knowledge, and experience with siting approvals. Hybrid work arrangement with periodic travel, 10-15%, and collaboration across offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, urban planning, GIS, engineering, biology or similar.
• 12+ years leading electric transmission line and substation siting projects.
• 8+ years leading technical teams, scheduling and budgeting.
• 5+ years leading project pursuits, including client communication, scopes, schedules and cost estimates.
• 5+ years leading CPCN filings.
• Experience collaborating with scientists, engineers, archaeologists and other specialists on siting and environmental projects.
• Involvement in client development and leadership, including sourcing opportunities and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead routing and siting studies and CPCN filings.
• Provide senior QA/QC reviews of client deliverables and regulatory filings.
• Lead project teams in siting strategies and coordinate with clients for successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with public outreach, permitting and interdisciplinary team members.
• Grow new and existing client relationships with business development leaders.
