Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to partner with the site operations team. You will implement WHS policies, ensure compliance with local regulations, and lead continuous improvement to reduce risks in processes.

You will build a team of safety professionals, train leadership, and drive strategic actions to reduce incidents while aligning safety goals with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in safety/environmental programs.
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvements.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term safety strategy with site leadership.
• Build and develop a high-performing safety team.
• Analyze metrics and audits to identify risk and drive improvements.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to integrate safety into workflows.
• Establish inspection and audit mechanisms for training and data integrity.
