Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety Manager to partner with the site operations team and execute WHS policies. You will drive risk assessments, lead safety data analysis, and implement training across leaders and WHS professionals while aligning with regional and global standards.

You will build and mentor a team of safety managers, oversee incident trends, Kaizen initiatives, and ensure compliant record-keeping and reporting to support continuous safety

Qualifications

• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management.
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends, as required to support direct reports and site needs.

Responsabilités

• Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policy.
• Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable Amazon Safety Policies.
• Measure site performance against published requirements in safety policies and plan fixes for deficiencies.
• Ensure safety record keeping and data integrity with accurate reporting and metrics.
• Deliver on-time and quality projects to Operations.
• Deep Dive safety metrics and review incident trends to justify resource allocation.
• Audit record keeping practices and Global Safety Database entries for compliance.
• Audit workplace organization and Associate behaviors for training and scoring methods.
• Manage and mentor Safety Managers and Safety Associates at the site.
• Engage IPS and Site Leadership to drive long-term actions for incident reduction.
• Perform targeted Kaizen events with Operations to address task risks.
• Ensure site leadership and associates are trained and aware of policy responsibilities.
• Audit the quality and effectiveness of safety training and deployed tools.
• Partner with corporate and regional field safety personnel to share best practices.
