Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to lead site-level WHS, partner with operations, and drive continuous safety improvements. You will train leadership, oversee risk assessments, and ensure adherence to local and regional regulations across the designated site.

The role requires mentoring a team of safety professionals and delivering on-time safety projects, with strong communication and leadership skills to influence cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in safety and/or environmental programs in operations.
• Experience leading people and performance management.
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement.
• Willingness to work various shifts including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policy.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Measure site performance and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and provide accurate reporting.
• Lead safety projects and analyze incident trends.
• Mentor Safety Managers and site WHS staff.
• Partner with corporate safety to align with global standards.
