Job summary

Capstone is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our Flowood, MS operation. This is a hands-on role overseeing day-to-day activities, safety and productivity, and potential to run portions of the site. You will train new hires and lead a team toward operational excellence.

We require 2–5 years of supervisory experience in distribution/transportation, with a competitive salary and quarterly bonus. Benefits begin after 30 days, with opportunities for growth in a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Proven experience delivering high levels of customer service.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to manage budgets; read and interpret P&L statements; prepare reports.
• Intermediate PC skills with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates with common carrier representatives.
• Run site with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Write and balance daily bank deposits.
• Create daily work logs and transmit to corporate.
• Audit daily labor and billing reports.
• Ensure customer needs are met daily.
• Document and resolve customer service or associate issues daily.
• Hold weekly safety meetings and ensure participation.
• Assist in managing Site and Departmental budgets.
• Schedule associate shifts; interview, hire, train new associates.
• Supervise data entry for all services performed.
• Complete daily closeout, including cash balancing and payroll records.
