Job summary

Capstone Logistics is seeking a Site Supervisor with 2-5 years of increasing management responsibility in the distribution/transportation field. This role trains new hires, runs day-to-day operations with a team, and focuses on safety and productivity while representing Capstone with Partners.

The position offers a competitive salary, bonus potential, and a benefits package after 30 days. Growth opportunities exist as Capstone expands its site footprint across North America.

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervisory / leadership experience in an industrial setting
• Proven experience in providing high levels of customer service to internal and external customers
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills
• Ability to manage budgets; read and interpret P&L statements; prepare management reports
• Intermediate PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates with common carrier representatives
• Run site with safety and efficiency as priorities
• Create and balance daily bank deposits; generate daily work logs
• Audit daily labor and billing reports
• Ensure customer needs are met daily
• Resolve customer service or associate issues daily
• Ensure all associates follow Capstone policies and safety rules
• Hold weekly safety meetings and encourage participation
• Assist in managing site and departmental budgets
• Schedule associate shifts based on customer requirements
• Interview, hire, and train new associates
• Oversee data entry, closeout, cash balancing and payroll records
