Job summary

Rubbercraft seeks a Trade Compliance Manager in Long Beach, CA to lead and oversee compliance activities at the facility, ensuring CBP, ITAR, EAR adherence.

The role requires hands-on management, implementing policies, improving processes, and guiding cross-functional teams. The site aims to strengthen the trade compliance program and support growth.

This onsite position offers opportunities to develop the function and maintain robust regulatory records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in import/export compliance or similar.
• Strong knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and CBP regulations.
• Experience with HTS and ECCN classifications and export licensing.
• Experience developing and improving trade compliance processes and controls.
• Experience conducting audits and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead import/export compliance activities ensuring CBP/ITAR/EAR adherence.
• Develop and maintain trade compliance policies and internal controls.
• Oversee HTS/ECCN determinations, customs valuation, and country of origin.
• Act as site SME and primary point of contact for trade compliance.
• Drive process improvements and support ongoing program growth.
• Manage export licensing activities and evaluate license requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed compliance in processes.
• Provide training on import/export regulations to employees.
