Rubbercraft is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager for our Long Beach, CA facility. This role will lead and oversee import/export compliance, acting as the site SME for CBP, ITAR and EAR regulations.

The position involves developing, implementing, and maintaining compliant processes while driving improvements to mitigate regulatory risk. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in trade compliance, strong ITAR/EAR knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in import/export compliance or export controls.
• Strong knowledge of ITAR, EAR, CBP regulations.
• Experience with HTS/ECCN classifications and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead import/export compliance activities across the site.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and internal controls.
• Oversee HTS/ECCN determinations, valuations, and origin requirements.
• Serve as primary site SME and point of contact for trade compliance matters.
• Identify and drive improvements to strengthen the compliance program.
• Lead internal audits and risk assessments; implement CAPA plans.
