Job summary

Rubbercraft is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist in Long Beach, CA to guide the company through import/export regulations and ensure all business transactions comply with CBP and ITAR/EAR requirements. The role acts as the site SME, designing and maintaining compliant trade processes across activities.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on HTS/ECCN experience, the ability to obtain DoD Top Secret/SAP clearances, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in import/export compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and U.S. Customs regulations (CBP).
• Hands-on experience with HTS and ECCN classification and export licensing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret and SAP clearances.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with systems such as ACE, Epicor, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain import and export compliance processes and procedures aligned with CBP, ITAR, and EAR regulations.
• Establish and manage master data, including HTS and ECCN classifications, valuation, and country of origin determinations.
• Monitor export and import activities to ensure appropriate licensing and approvals are in place.
