Fortrex is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage daily sanitation operations in our client plants, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance. You will supervise hourly sanitors and lead persons, allocate tasks, and uphold company policies.

The role emphasizes hands‑on leadership, coordinating training, ensuring PPE use, and maintaining high standards. Shift timing varies by location; we offer benefits and opportunities to grow within a national food‑safety leader.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 or more months of sanitation experience.
• Leadership and decision‑making skills are required.
• General working knowledge of computers and technology including Microsoft Office
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract.
• Ability to work in environments with extreme temperature fluctuations.

Responsabilidades

• Daily supervision and management of sanitors for specific areas and departments.
• Direct the work of sanitors, with occasional independent judgment at peak times.
• Apportion work assignments among lead persons and sanitors.
• Ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Evaluate sanitors for promotions or changes in status.
• Ensure compliance with handbook and safety procedures.
• Assist training programs including safety training and ERP.
• Report and investigate all accidents.
• Other duties as assigned.
