Fortrex is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage hourly Food Safety Sanitors and Lead Persons across various plant areas. You will ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and company policies.

The role requires leadership, sanitation experience, and comfort with computers and PPE, with shifts possibly varying by location. Join a team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• 6+ months sanitation experience.
• Leadership and decision-making skills required.
• General working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to wear PPE.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract.
• Ability to work in environments with extreme temperature fluctuations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily sanitation staff and lead persons in designated departments.
• Direct work of sanitors; avoid routine manual labor unless needed at peak times.
• Assign tasks to sanitation leads and staff; monitor performance.
• Ensure safety, efficiency, and policy compliance across team and site.
• Assist Site Manager with training programs including safety and ERP.
