Job summary

Fortrex, including its Safe Foods division, is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee hourly sanitation teams at our customer plants. You will supervise staff, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to uphold procedures.

The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory compliance, and adherence to internal training standards, with on-site responsibilities in a wet, hot, or cold environment.

Qualifications

• Sanitation experience required; 6+ months.
• Leadership and decision-making skills required.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to wear PPE.
• Ability to read, write, and do basic arithmetic.
• Ability to work in environments with extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily sanitation staff and lead persons in assigned departments.
• Assign work and monitor performance of sanitors.
• Ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate staff for promotions or changes in status.
• Assist with training programs including safety and ERP.
• Report and investigate accidents; perform other duties as assigned.
