Job summary

Fortrex is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage hourly Food Safety Sanitors and Lead Persons in our plants. You will oversee daily activities to maintain safety, efficiency, and compliance, guiding a team in sanitation operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to procedures, and on-going safety training, with opportunities to contribute to ERP and training programs. Shift timing may vary by location.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 6 months of sanitation experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills.
• General computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to wear PPE.
• Ability to read, write, add and subtract.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily sanitation staff in designated areas.
• Direct work of sanitators and lead persons; provide guidance during peak times.
• Assign tasks and ensure safe, efficient execution.
• Ensure compliance with government, customer, and company policies.
