Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualification or a National Diploma in Construction Management/Civil Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role on construction sites.
• Experience overseeing multiple trades and ensuring safety and quality on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site, ensuring work aligns with schedule and specs.
• Direct a team of laborers, tradespeople, and subcontractors to maintain productivity and compliance.
• Enforce health and safety regulations with regular inspections and toolbox talks.
• Monitor workmanship quality and material compliance with codes and project standards.
• Maintain site logs, progress reports, and resource tracking.
• Manage storage and movement of materials and equipment on site.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to address site issues and resolve conflicts.
• Inspect subcontractor work for quality and contractual compliance.
• Foster a safety-conscious culture across the site team.
