Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with surveying equipment and techniques.
• Strong contract administration and site documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure on site in Welkom.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and proactive Site Engineer to manage and supervise civil infrastructure projects in Welkom . This role is crucial for ensuring that construction activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with design specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and practical site management experience. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on site, coordinating with contractors, managing resources, and ensuring timely completion of project milestones. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with significant infrastructure developments in the Free State province, working closely with a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all aspects of civil engineering works on construction sites in and around Welkom .

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar supervisory role on civil construction projects.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with surveying equipment and techniques.
• Good understanding of contract administration and site documentation.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
