Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a security professional in New York to observe and report activities at client sites, protect property and personnel, and ensure safety. The role requires standing for long periods and performing periodic patrols, with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday hours.

The position offers pay starting at 30.00 USD per hour, with responsibilities including reporting, securing premises, and completing detailed incident reports.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Pay Range

Starting from USD $30.00/Hr.
