Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. in New York, NY is seeking a dedicated Security Guard to observe and report activities at client sites, ensuring the security of property and personnel. You will perform periodic patrols and respond to incidents as part of a vigilant on-site team.

The ideal candidate is at least 18, holds a valid NYS Security Guard License, and can work weekends. Strong customer service and de-escalation skills, plus reliable transportation, are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills.
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Sat-Sun 1500-2300

Pay Range

Up to USD $22.50/Hr.
