Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking an overnight security guard to observe and protect client sites in New York. The role requires vigilance during 12am–8am shifts, patrolling, reporting incidents, and enforcing site rules to keep people and property safe.

Applicants must be 18+, hold a valid NYS Security Guard License, be able to work weekends, and demonstrate excellent customer service and de-escalation skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills.
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations.
• Reliable transportation.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

12am to 8am Sunday through Thursday. Fri & Sat OFF

Pay Range

Starting from USD $25.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
