Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Site Superintendent to join our federal team at Fort Meade, MD. You will oversee procurement and installation of electronic security systems across the base, coordinating with subcontractors and the Project Manager to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

The role requires leadership of field construction activities, safety compliance, and interaction with government stakeholders. Travel is limited and security clearances are required or pursued as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project coordination and supervision of construction projects in commercial/industrial building sectors.
• Experience managing large-scale projects (>$1M) with multiple trades.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for supervision and client interface.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic Windows.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD-level security clearances; DoD clearance preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervise field construction processes to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery with quality workmanship.
• Inspect, review, and report on all site construction activities; ensure subcontractors meet schedule.
• Develop means/methods for construction/installation in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate activities of all employees and subcontractors on site.
• Support quality control per contract requirements (submittals, daily reports, meetings).
• Enforce safety requirements; assist with SSHO functions as needed.
• Plan and track work tasks; monitor progress with schedule updates.
• Coordinate inspections, tests, and client contract requirements.
• Participate in regular project/site meetings with subcontractors, engineers, and client reps.
