Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Field Project Manager to manage integrated physical security projects for Federal Government agencies.

You will oversee installation and service projects from start to close, coordinating with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment with contracts and SLAs. You will monitor schedules, manage field execution, and support billing, reporting, and project close-out, while maintaining safety, quality, and profitability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in physical security.
• 3–5 years of construction, electrical, electronic security, or systems integration experience.
• Knowledge of access control systems, CCTV (analog and IP-based), intercoms, and intrusion detection systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily functional management for installation and service projects.
• Monitor schedules and coordinate work from start-up through commissioning and final acceptance.
• Review contracts and schedule requirements to support procurement, materials delivery, and subcontractor coordination.
• Direct employees and subcontractors, ensuring day-to-day execution.
• Maintain project records, changes, material flow, reports, and close-out analyses.
• Build communication between customers, engineering, and on-site trades.
• Support sales with proposal and contract preparation for large systems.
• Ensure on-time billing for installation and monthly services.
