Job summary

Fessler & Bowman, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Site-Superintendent to oversee field operations and supervise multiple crews on concrete and civil earthwork projects. This role requires ensuring work is completed on time and within budget while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with Foremen, review daily logs and timesheets, and communicate with owners and the PM team to resolve issues and keep projects on track. Travel to local job sites is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in concrete or heavy civil construction.
• Strong sense of urgency and self-motivation.
• Proficient in word processing and spreadsheets.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple crews to meet production targets.
• Attend client project meetings and negotiate change requests.
• Ensure site equipment, forms, and shoring are removed when not needed.
• Maintain a rolling 4-week look-ahead for manpower.
• Communicate job progress daily with the PM.
• Uphold safety, quality, and ethics standards on site.
