Job summary

Fessler & Bowman, Inc. is seeking a Site Superintendent to oversee field operations at local job sites, directing Foremen and crews to meet schedule and budget while upholding quality and safety standards. The role requires coordinating with PM and owners, and ensuring compliance with project scope and client approvals.

Travel to various sites is required. The ideal candidate has strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills and a proven track record in concrete or heavy civil

Qualifications

• At least five years in concrete or heavy civil construction.
• Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with team members.
• Proficient with word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple crews to meet production rates and budget.
• Attend client project meetings and negotiate project changes with the PM team.
• Ensure equipment, forms, and sites are prepared and compliant with safety and quality targets.
• Maintain a rolling 4-week look-ahead for manpower and material needs.
• Provide daily progress updates to PM and resolve issues to avoid delays.
• Coordinate field logistics and ensure proper demobilization and site cleanup.
