Job summary

Fessler & Bowman, Inc. seeks a seasoned Superintendent to oversee concurrent heavy civil and concrete projects from multiple locations. You will ensure tasks stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards while coordinating with the project management team.

You will mentor field crews, review daily reports, schedule equipment and manpower, and enforce company methods. Travel to various sites is required; a proven leadership record and strong communication are essential to

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in heavy civil or concrete construction.
• At least 5 years in concrete or heavy civil construction as a job site leader.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills across multiple locations.
• Advanced ability to interpret complex blueprints, site plans, and topographical specifications.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification required; First Aid/CPR; ACI and SWPPP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations across multiple locations.
• Mentor concrete support crews and oversee recruitment and training.
• Review timesheets and daily reports by 10:00am.
• Schedule equipment, manpower, and mobilization for each job.
• Ensure safety inspections and on-site housekeeping meet standards.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors to contractual obligations.
