Job summary

Fessler & Bowman Inc. seeks a Superintendent to lead multiple heavy civil and concrete projects. You will drive on-time, on-budget execution while upholding safety and quality standards across diverse sites.

The ideal candidate has extensive field leadership experience, strong blueprint interpretation skills, and a proven ability to manage crews and subcontractors. Travel between sites is required; a robust safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in heavy civil or concrete construction
• 5+ years in concrete or heavy civil construction as a job site leader
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills across multiple locations
• Advanced ability to interpret complex blueprints, site plans, and topographical specs
• Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour; First Aid/CPR; ACI and SWPPP preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations across multiple locations
• Develop and mentor concrete support crews
• Review and approve previous day's timesheets and reports
• Plan equipment and staffing needs for projects
• Ensure safety inspections and site cleanliness across sites
• Manage subcontractors and vendors to meet obligations
