Job summary

Corevia Search is seeking a Site Superintendent for a major data center project. This remote-based role requires extensive field leadership, coordinating with subs and vendors to drive schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction from mobilization through closeout.

You will own MOPs/SOPs for live, occupied infrastructure, build strong relationships with clients, and travel extensively across markets to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent trades/technical training and experience.
• 6–8+ years managing construction on mission-critical facilities, data center experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute MOPs/SOPs for live, occupied critical infrastructure
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across subcontractors, vendors, and clients
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (approx. 75%) to support project needs across multiple markets

• Own and maintain the master project schedule, sequencing, and logic in coordination with the project team
• Take the lead on developing Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cutovers and tie-ins involving live critical systems
• Direct and evaluate subcontractor and supplier performance against quality and schedule requirements
• Serve as a primary point of contact for client communication on-site, building and protecting the relationship
• Resolve field issues in real time to keep work moving
• Manage punch-list completion and full project closeout documentation

Our client is a specialist general contractor that builds exclusively for the data center sector, no diversification into other asset classes, just deep, focused expertise in mission-critical facility construction. With a project backlog exceeding $2 billion, they are currently mobilizing a Site Superintendent for a $400 million data center project, one of several large-scale builds currently underway across their portfolio.

Lean and fast-moving, the company currently runs at around 50 staff and has an active growth plan to reach 150 staff within the next two years a genuine ground-floor opportunity to grow with a company scaling rapidly in one of construction's highest-demand sectors. Because they only build data centers, every hire is chosen for deep sector fluency rather than general construction breadth.

The Role

As Site Superintendent, you will take ownership of day-to-day field execution on a major data center construction project translating design intent into real-world results in partnership with subcontractors, vendors, and the broader project team. You'll be the person on the ground driving schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction from mobilization through closeout.

Core responsibilities include:

• Lead field execution of a $400M+ mission-critical facility build from active construction through demobilization
• Own and maintain the master project schedule, sequencing, and logic in coordination with the project team
• Take the lead on developing Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cutovers and tie-ins involving live critical systems, this is a defining function of the role

What You Bring
