Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced General Site Superintendent to lead the day-to-day delivery of a major industrial construction programme in Northern Nevada.

This senior site leadership role coordinates self-perform teams, subcontractors, vendors and multiple disciplines across civil, structural and MEP scopes while upholding safety, quality and schedule performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a General Superintendent or senior site leader.
• Experience on large industrial, manufacturing or infrastructure projects.
• Coordinating multiple trades and complex construction packages.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural and MEP sequencing.
• Experience managing large field teams and subcontractors.
• Safety, quality control and schedule management expertise.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and project schedules.
• OSHA 30 preferred; Primavera P6/Procore/Bluebeam advantageous.

Schedule: Site-based

We are seeking an experienced General Site Superintendent to lead the day-to-day delivery of a major industrial construction programme in Northern Nevada.

This is a senior site leadership position responsible for coordinating self-perform teams, subcontractors, vendors and multiple construction disciplines. You will oversee activities across civil, structural, architectural and MEP packages while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and schedule performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily construction operations across the entire project site.
• Coordinate self-perform crews, subcontractors, vendors and field supervision.
• Manage work across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Develop short-term plans and ensure work remains aligned with the master construction schedule.
• Lead daily coordination meetings, site walks and safety discussions.
• Monitor workforce levels, productivity, materials and equipment requirements.
• Identify sequencing issues, constraints and potential delays before they affect delivery.
• Ensure construction complies with drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Work closely with project management, engineering, design, safety and quality teams.
• Coordinate inspections, system completion, commissioning, punch-list work and final turnover.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate progress to senior project stakeholders.
• Promote a strong culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a General Superintendent, Lead Superintendent or Senior Site Superintendent.
• Proven responsibility for large industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and complex construction packages.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural and MEP construction sequencing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large field teams and numerous subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction safety, quality control and schedule management.
• Comfortable interpreting construction drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Procore, Bluebeam or comparable construction software is advantageous.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
• Must be able to work on site daily in Northern Nevada.
