Job summary

Hudbay is seeking a Site Services Technician for the Cactus Project in Arizona. Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, this role ensures daily maintenance, infrastructure support, and site service operations with high reliability and safety.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in facility maintenance/electrical work, with strong knowledge of facility systems and the ability to work with vendors on specialized repairs.

Qualifications

• Advanced working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools for facility systems.
• Experience with CMMS and Google Workspace.
• Able to work at heights or in confined spaces when required.

Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance & Installations: daily upkeep of active mine facilities and infrastructure; preventive maintenance on facility equipment; light vehicle maintenance; install and commission new site equipment.
• Inspections, Troubleshooting, & Repairs: prioritize routine inspections of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems; perform complex repairs; diagnose and resolve issues; respond to emergencies.
• Safety & Compliance: meet safety standards; participate in training; collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance; document inspections and work orders.
