Job summary

Securitas, Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage client-site security operations.

You will supervise Security Officers and Lead Officers, ensure post orders are followed, complete established rounds, and file required reports to keep the client site secure and compliant. You will coach and discipline personnel, train staff on post orders, assist in payroll submissions, and ensure coverage for all posts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years related experience preferred.
• Experience in retail is a plus.
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers and Lead Officers; ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel; documents coaching actions.
• Trains Security Officers; reviews post orders with staff.
• Assists in payroll and personnel information submissions.
• Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits reports as required.
• Inspects posts and outlines tasks and responsibilities to subordinates.
• Meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and to provide quality customer service.
• Performs supervisory duties including interviewing, orienting, training, planning, directing, coaching, appraising, and hiring/termination decisions.
• May perform duties of a Security Officer as needed.
