Alterman in Austin, TX seeks a Safety Coordinator to promote OSHA-compliant safety across active construction sites. You will train crews, conduct toolbox talks, perform daily site visits with Project Supervisors, and document hazards and corrective actions.

You will support policy updates, develop site-specific safety programs, investigate incidents, maintain OSHA records, and help drive a culture of accountability.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years in construction safety, health or environmental protection.
• Electrical construction experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Conducts safety training and toolbox talks for crews.
• Performs daily jobsite visits with Project Supervisors to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Investigates incidents, documents findings, and recommends corrective actions.
• Maintains OSHA records and ensures required documentation is retained.
• Supports development and enforcement of site-specific safety programs and policies.
