Job summary

Pulice Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Safety Manager for on-site leadership in Austin, TX. You will enforce Health and Safety programs, conduct DHA documentation, and coordinate emergency planning across the project team.

The role requires 7+ years in construction safety, a relevant degree (preferred), and strong skills in risk assessment, training delivery, and cross-functional communication to drive safe outcomes on complex sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Organizational Health & Safety or related field preferred.
• 7+ years construction or safety experience required.
• Experience with a broad variety of construction methods and build types required.
• Proven skill to identify onsite project safety risks and mitigate within requirements.
• Strong multitasking and organization skills.
• Verbal, written and presentation skills for all levels.

Responsibilities

• Identify, document and resolve onsite safety risks during daily site walks.
• Advise management on interpretation and implementation of safety regulations.
• Evaluate safety equipment needs for project work and ensure availability.
• Assist in investigations and reporting of accidents and incidents.
• Develop and distribute worksite safety and evacuation plans.
• Present toolbox talks to project staff and report progress to leadership.
• Support subcontractor safety program evaluations and corrective actions.
