Job summary

Alterman Management Group is seeking a Safety Coordinator to promote a safe work environment across Texas projects. You will train crews, conduct site visits, and work with leadership to enforce OSHA standards and safety programs.

The role requires 5+ years in construction safety, strong documentation, and the ability to coach teams on hazard mitigation and incident prevention on active job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in construction safety/health/environmental protection.
• Experience in the electrical construction industry preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Train and conduct toolbox talks and jobsite safety meetings.
• Perform daily site visits with Project Supervisors to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; prepare reports and corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA records and ensure compliance across all jobsites.
• Support development and implementation of site-specific safety programs and incentives.
