Job summary

Pulice in Austin, TX is seeking a seasoned Safety Professional to oversee on-site health and safety compliance across construction crews. You will identify hazards, lead toolbox talks, and coordinate with management to implement OSHA-compliant practices.

The role requires 7+ years of construction safety experience, a degree in Organizational Health & Safety (or related), strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years construction or safety experience required.
• Experience with a broad variety of construction methods and build types.
• Proven skill to identify onsite project safety risks and recommend mitigation within safety and project program requirements.
• Developed and proven knowledge to control or eliminate hazards following prescribed methods.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, documents and resolves onsite safety risks or discrepancies during daily site walks.
• Advises management on proper interpretation and implementation of safety regulations.
• Evaluates and identifies all safety equipment needs for project work.
• Assists in investigations and reporting regarding accidents, injuries or illnesses and other safety incidents.
• Develops and distributes worksite safety and evacuation plan to all onsite personnel.
• Presents toolbox talk content to project site staff and progress of the safety program to leadership.
