Qualifications

• 4+ years in systems/platform engineering or similar.
• Experience with globally distributed systems.
• Strong security best practices knowledge.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Ability to write efficient SQL and analyze queries.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a distributed, global ecosystem of cloud instances, containers, serverless apps, Linux servers, and infrastructure supporting billions of requests daily.
• Manage transactional databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and cloud services like RDS/Aurora.
• Support NoSQL storage (DynamoDB, MongoDB) and data streams (Kinesis, Kafka).
• Assist data engineering with Spark and big data toolchains; ensure 24x7x365 operations.
• Provide architectural and operational guidance to software engineers; enforce security programs.
