Job summary

Avalore, LLC is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the WDP System. You will define KPIs and SLOs, identify bottlenecks, and perform root cause analyses to implement preventive measures and improve efficiency.

You will design monitoring and alerting systems, develop runbooks, automate tasks, and participate in capacity planning, load testing, and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• SECRET Security Clearance Required
• Certifications: Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP for Junior/Journeyman roles
• Certifications: SecurityX/CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, or GFACT for Senior role
• Levels: Junior (0-3 years) with Bachelor's Degree, Journeyman (4-7 years) with Bachelor's, Senior (8+ years) with Bachelor's
• English proficiency required
• Authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided
• Proficiency with MS Office applications

Responsibilities

• Define and track KPIs and SLOs for system reliability
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and perform root cause analysis
• Design and implement monitoring and alerting systems
• Develop runbooks and playbooks for operations
• Automate routine tasks and conduct capacity planning
• Perform load testing and establish disaster recovery procedures
• Participate in on-call rotations and collaborate with development teams
• Apply chaos engineering to identify weaknesses before impact
