Job summary

Parker Hannifin in Otsego, MI is seeking a Quality Leader to oversee day-to-day quality operations, supervise inspectors, and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor. This onsite role translates quality policies into actionable activities that meet internal standards, regulatory and customer requirements.

The position reports to the Plant Manager or Division Quality Manager and requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on CAPA, PFMEA, and control plan execution

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with quality tools and methods: CAPA, 8D/A3, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA and nonconformance/MRB processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications; GD&T familiarity preferred.
• Data-driven decision-making with KPI dashboards and basic statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Owns and drives adherence to Parker Quality Process (PQP) methodologies and deployment of PQP tools.
• Execute and sustain the site QMS, including internal audits, document control, training, and management review inputs.
• Ensure CAPA processes with timely closure and verification of effectiveness.
• Lead site quality inspectors/technicians across one or more value streams and monitor process controls.
• Facilitate root cause analysis (A3, 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) and deploy preventive solutions.
