Qualifications

• B.S. degree in an engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years' quality, engineering or related experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 QS‑9000 applicable for automotive sector.
• ASQ CQE/CSSBB/CQMgr certification preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and quality practices.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, and FMEA.
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, facilitation and problem‑solving skills.
• Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicates customer, regulatory and organizational requirements to assure product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Oversees documentation and implementation of the quality management system to assure compliance with requirements.
• Works with leadership to ensure training and performance in quality functions.
• Coordinates plant personnel for internal, customer and third‑party quality system audits.
• Maintains a corrective action system to analyze and correct nonconforming conditions and complaints.
• Implements performance measurements to evaluate organizational performance and trends in quality and cost of quality.
• Assesses supplier capabilities and monitors supplier quality.
