Job summary

The Jamar Company seeks a Site Quality Manager to lead quality initiatives on complex projects nationwide, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and project specifications. You will coordinate with teams, clients, vendors, and regulators while driving continuous improvement and rigorous inspections in field operations.

Relocation to project sites across the country is required for multi-year assignments. A strong track record in construction quality and team leadership is essential for this

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or Quality Management in industrial/construction settings.
• 3+ years leading quality programs on government, military, healthcare, or other regulated projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality assurance/quality control practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the Site Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
• Oversee quality for self-performed and subcontracted construction activities.
• Serve as onsite quality lead and primary contact for quality matters.
• Direct field inspection activities and ensure contract/compliance with specs and codes.
• Review and approve inspection plans, quality docs, and submittals.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and EPCM reps to resolve issues.
• Lead investigations of nonconforming work and corrective actions.
• Prepare for and participate in audits, reviews, inspections, and acceptance activities.
• Track quality metrics and drive continuous improvement to reduce deficiencies.
• Coach inspectors and project personnel to uphold quality and workmanship.
