Job summary

The Jamar Company is seeking a Site Quality Manager to lead the on-site Quality Management System across multi-year, mission-critical projects nationwide. You will oversee inspection, compliance, and governance of quality programs for self-performed and subcontracted work, interfacing with clients and regulators to ensure excellence.

Qualifications include 5+ years in construction quality roles, 3+ years in regulated project leadership, ISO 9001 experience, and an AWS CWI certification or

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Construction Management, Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 3+ years leading quality programs on government, military, healthcare, or other highly regulated projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS and QA/QC best practices.
• Experience overseeing quality programs for self-performed and subcontracted work.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, drawings, specs, and industry standards.
• Experience with quality audits, inspections, testing programs, nonconformance management, and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and ISO 9001 principles.
• Oversee quality compliance for self-performed and subcontracted construction activities.
• Serve as the primary onsite resource and point of contact for all quality-related matters.
• Direct field inspection activities and ensure work complies with contract requirements, specifications, codes, and regulatory standards.
• Review and approve inspection and test plans, quality documentation, submittals, and related project records.
• Partner with project teams, subcontractors, testing agencies, clients, and EPCM representatives to identify, resolve, and prevent quality issues.
• Lead investigations of nonconforming work and oversee corrective/preventive actions.
• Prepare for and participate in audits, reviews, inspections, and project acceptance activities.
• Track quality performance metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor inspectors and project personnel to promote a culture of quality.
