Job summary

The Jamar Company is seeking a Site Quality Manager to lead the on-site Quality Management System across complex industrial and energy projects. You will partner with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and regulators to drive quality performance and compliance on multi-year assignments across the country.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction or quality management, experience with regulated projects, and Certification in ISO 9001 practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Construction Management, Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience leading quality programs on government, federal, military, healthcare, or other regulated projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 principles and quality assurance practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and ISO 9001 principles.
• Oversee quality compliance for self-performed and subcontracted construction activities.
• Serve as the primary onsite resource and point of contact for all quality-related matters.
• Direct field inspection activities and ensure work is performed in accordance with contract requirements, specifications, codes, and regulatory standards.
• Review and approve inspection and test plans, quality documentation, submittals, and project records.
• Partner with project teams, subcontractors, testing agencies, clients, and EPCM to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Lead investigations of nonconforming work and oversee corrective actions.
• Prepare for and participate in audits, quality reviews, inspections, and project acceptance activities.
• Track quality performance metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach inspectors and project personnel to promote a culture of quality and workmanship.
