Job summary

The Jamar Company seeks a Site Quality Manager to lead quality initiatives for major national projects. You will manage the QMS, guide inspections, and coordinate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure safety, compliance, and workmanship excellence.

You will drive corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement while relocating to project sites as needed across the country, with travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Construction Management, Engineering, Quality Management or related field.
• 3+ years leading quality programs on government or mission‑critical projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Experience overseeing self‑performed and subcontracted work.
• Ability to interpret contract documents and drawings.
• CWI certification or ability to obtain it.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; travel ability.
• Must pass background screenings and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure project compliance with ISO 9001.
• Oversee quality compliance for self‑performed and subcontracted activities.
• Serve as the primary onsite quality resource and point of contact.
• Direct field inspections and ensure work meets contract specs and codes.
• Review and approve inspection/test plans and quality docs.
• Collaborate with teams, clients, subcontractors, and EPCM to resolve issues.
• Lead investigations of nonconforming work and corrective actions.
• Prepare for audits and quality reviews and project acceptance.
• Track quality metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach inspectors and promote a culture of quality.
