Job summary

The Jamar Company seeks a Site Quality Manager to lead the on-site quality program for our multi-year projects. You will manage the Quality Management System, oversee inspections, and partner with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and contract requirements.

This role requires 5+ years in construction or quality management on regulated projects, travel up to 75%, and relocation to project sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Construction/Quality Management or related fields.
• 3+ years leading quality programs on regulated projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and QA/QC practices.
• Experience with self-performed and subcontracted construction QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS) for compliance with requirements and ISO 9001.
• Oversee quality for self-performed and subcontracted construction activities.
• Serve as primary onsite quality resource and point of contact.
• Direct field inspections and ensure work meets contract specs and codes.
• Review and approve inspection plans, tests, submittals, and records.
• Partner with teams, clients, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
• Lead investigations of nonconformities and corrective actions.
• Prepare for audits, reviews, and project acceptance activities.
• Track quality metrics and drive continuous improvement.
