Job summary

The Jamar Company is seeking a Site Quality Manager to lead on-site quality initiatives for complex national projects. You will partner with project teams, clients, subcontractors and regulators to drive quality performance and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and contract requirements.

You will oversee inspections, test plans, and documentation, while mentoring inspectors and coordinating with EPCM teams. Relocation to project sites nationwide is required for multi-year assignments, with

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Construction Management, Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 3+ years leading quality programs on government or highly regulated projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and QA/QC best practices.
• Experience with self-performed and subcontracted construction work.
• Ability to interpret contract documents and drawings.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and relocate across project sites.
• AWS CWI certification or ability to obtain is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure project compliance and ISO 9001 alignment.
• Oversee quality compliance for self‑performed and subcontracted construction activities.
• Serve as the primary onsite quality lead and contact for all quality matters.
• Direct field inspections and ensure work meets contract requirements and codes.
• Review/approve inspection and test plans, quality docs, submittals, and records.
• Collaborate with teams, clients, subcontractors, and EPCM to resolve quality issues.
• Lead investigations of nonconforming work and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare for audits, quality reviews, inspections, and project acceptance activities.
• Track quality metrics and drive continuous improvement to reduce deficiencies.
• Coach inspectors and project personnel to foster a culture of workmanship excellence.
